タラブックスのグリーティングカード用のパッケージデザイン。 インドから欧米への長距離輸送に耐える頑丈さと、ミュージアムショップに置いた時に美しいこと、自社の工房で制作できる工程でデザインすることを条件にしてデザインした。１枚の紙を１回ダイカットし、シルクスクリーン印刷した厚紙を、２箇所糊づけで強度ある箱を組み立てるようにした。職人からのフィードバックでデザイン修正がすぐにできたりと、作る場所が近くにあるタラブックスのよさを実感できたプロジェクト。
Package design for greeting cards for Tara Books. Design was required 3 conditions: toughness for long distance
transportation from India to US/Europe, beauty in the occasion of displaying in museum shops, simple production at Tara Books’ workshop. One die-cut on one paper and silkscreen printed, only two points of glued to make box with strength. It was joyful process to talk directly to craft men and get feedback to adjust design.
