The book is Nao Saito’s travel-logue in South India where she has spent 3 months in 2014. It tells 21 stories of local kitchens with architectural drawings with measures of ‘kitchen space’, whole space including kitchen where the cook use during her/his cooking, sketches of traditional kitchen tools, recipe of the dish which the cook cooked and pictures. For travellers, local kitchens are the farthest destination, but once it opens to you, you will get to know its society, culture and value with their honest voices.
