2023年建物公開展に合わせて、文化財なので触ることができない旧朝香宮邸（庭園美術館）のハンズオン「さわる庭園美術館」をデザイン。 １つ目は、１F大食堂植物模様の壁のレプリカをオリジナルの素材コンクリートで原寸大で制作。２つ目、２F妃殿下の居室では、テラスのモザイクタイルの復刻、設計時に取り寄せた大理石のサンプルを、建物の1:1の図面と組合せて展示。 原寸大のハンズオンは、さわることが、建物をより見ること、歩くことへとつながっていけると思う。
‘ Touch the Teien Art Museum’ was designed as part of ‘ Reminiscence of a House- Looking at Architecture 2023’. There are 3 parts: Fist one is 1:1 replica of the botanical wall in the Great Dining, which was made with concrete, an original material. Second ones are mosaic tiles (reproduction in 2014) and marbles (samples in 1930’s) places on 1:1 drawings. Touching 1:1 scale hands-on let visitors to see more and walk spontaneously in architecture.
